No. 50 Premium Charcuterie Board
640mm x 340mm x 22mm : 3.55kg
I first assembled this board using some gorgeous pieces of WA sheoak about 3 years ago. The timber was really special - old growth sheoak from a deceased estate but the board just didn’t do it for me so I put it aside. That WA sheoak is now the central curving grain section of the board. I added some straight grain sheoak either side, then two strips of American walnut, two pieces of extraordinary grain Tasmanian Blackwood, and WA jarrah edges. Then cut aligned with the curved grain and inserted slices of resin, one with blue and silver highlights, (jarrah either side) and one that is green one side, and violet highlights the other. Finally I shaped the handles to complement the board. The final finish is Osmo Cutting Board oil.
